Not interested in therapy but been told you "need" it?

When is the last time you checked in with yourself?   


Like really checked in.   Asked yourself the hard questions you ask others. Waited for the answers. Felt the feelings those answers conjured. Offered advice, empathy, and maybe a hug or some food.   


If you're like me, it may have been recently, but it isn't often enough.  


Too often, we can go many days without checking in with ourselves and coming back for just a few quiet moments to ask ourselves - how are you? what's going well? what's on the horizon?.  Too often we go through our days and wake up one day wondering how we got here.  


Mindfulness is the latest buzzword in many circles and while trends often go over my head as an autistic millennial (or are outside my price range), mindfulness as a trend warms my heart and calms my autonomic nervous system.    


Use this tool as a component of any mindfulness practice you have in your life or as your very first one to unlock the power that can come when we take a moment to pay more attention to what’s happening around us.

Yin Restorative Yoga for Burnout / Anxiety

In March 2021, I hit my 1 year mark in my personal recovery journey from COVID19. My body regained strength, I began offering Weekly Free Yin Yoga to the Long Haul COVID Recovery community.  You can see some of my earlier free classes below. 


As of February 2022, we begin year 3 of the Pandemic and those of us who are continuing to recover and rebuild need community.
