i can do it with a broken heart… too

Taylor Swift and I went to high school together for nearly 2 years, back in a different era of my life - she’s been an inspiration ever since.

Back in 2004, I was a high school junior at a suburban high school outside Nashville, TN - trying my best to fit in, follow the rules my Southern Baptist youth group preached good girls were expected to follow, get good grades, and find a nice Christian boy to eventually give my purity ring to.

Fast forward 20 years and I work for myself on the West Coast building my own empire. ICYMI, Taylor Swift her 11th album rich with stories of how she FINALLY gets to be “so high school” with the guy on the Chiefs after her relationship with the poet trapped inside the body of a finance guy and the boy who only breaks his favorite toys.

Life can take us on quite a wild ride, and Taylor has lyrics for all the twists and turns, to soak in amidst the Willow branches, listen to in the Getaway Cars, and on our trips to Florida.

The haters are gonna hate, but I’ll treasure the connections and happily lose sleep for 2am vault track drops.

If you’re looking to start (or restart) Therapy with an AuDHD Swiftie Therapist to avoid having a Cruel Summer Era, click ‘Getting Started’ or keep scrolling to learn more.

I’m currently operating on a wait list, so it may be a fortnight or two before we begin to explore the era you need help healing from, but reach out and get on the list today and keep Taylor on repeat in the meantime.

I offer short and long term therapy, adult assessments for Autism and AuDHD, and will be creating group therapy for clients in Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, and Florida soon.

it’s okay not to be okay. it’s okay to be weird. it’s okay to be YOU.

Hi, I’m Kimberly (she/her), a therapist who’s also a school social worker who loves working with teens, families, and young adults who are hesitant to try therapy because talking about feelings with strangers is brand new or uncomfortable to you.

Many of us grew up not thinking much about how we felt emotionally.

We weren’t taught language around mental health and “therapy” was for other people.

We only knew a handful of words to describe our feelings.

We certainly never knew our physical experience is related to our emotional one, and vice versa.

It turns out, the Body Keeps the Score and deep breaths really do help.

Need Support this Era?

If you’ve experienced something and need another human to sit with you and listen to your story, the new thoughts or behaviors you now have afterwards, or the things you miss about yourself or your life from before, that’s therapy.

I offer therapy at a “Pay What You Can” Rate ranging from $100-250/session to clients in Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, and Florida.

I offer several spots through Open Path Collective at $60/session
