Standard and Sliding Scale Rates Available.

Individual Therapy incl. Autism & AuDHD Assessments

Online individual therapy occurs weekly or every-other-week via video call, depending on the needs of the client. Clients can eventually transition to monthly or as-needed visits.

Short term (less than 6 months) and long-term therapeutic support is available.

These sessions will be scheduled as 45 or 60 minute sessions - depending on the client needs and any potential treatment modality requirements.

Initial intakes are typically 75-minute sessions so we can review informed consent, confidentiality, discuss hopes for treatment, and briefly explore relevant personal and mental health history.

$200 for 45 minutes / $250 for 60 minutes / $300 for 75 minutes

45 and 60 minute sessions are often eligible for Insurance Coverage pending a Diagnosis and Treatment Plan being assigned and facilitated

Therapy for More than One Person aka Family Therapy

As a systems focused therapist, I offer clients the option of combining individual therapy with family therapy to bring in key attachment and support folks in their life to sessions from time to time.

Family systems help support the client in their work between sessions.

Clients define 'family’ on their terms and family sessions may include a partner, close friend, chosen family member, or biological family member.

$250 for 75 minute session

Technology Supports I Utilize in My Practice

  • I utilize Zoom for all virtual sessions with the accessibility features of Live Captions, alternative camera backgrounds, and text-based messaging during sessions.

    I utilize these and am open to structuring sessions in manners that increase and facilitate accessibility for folks desiring additional access points to support.

  • BluePrint Health is available to all clients to complete regular assessments, keep notes for discussions at future sessions, and track the impact of therapy over time in a data-driven manner.

    During the first few sessions, clients collaborate on choosing which check-ins are enabled and measurements are assessed.

  • Upheal AI allows me to offer higher-quality, more focused therapy sessions where documentation is supported by AI.

    This frees me to focus on our work together and offer note summaries to clients if they’d like to receive a brief summary of each session between sessions.

  • Simple Practice Electronic Health Record system maintains my documentation and appointment scheduling.

    Clients are generally scheduled in series of 6 sessions at the start of our work together. Over time, client can transition to every other week sessions and to monthly sessions or ‘as needed’.

    Sessions can be scheduled online and clients can connect via Secure Message between sessions via SimplePractice or Google Voice.

What if I want to use my Health Insurance to pay for therapy services?

For Oregon Clients, I am In-Network with the following Insurance Networks:

  • Oregon Health Plan - Healthshare of Oregon

  • Oregon Health Plan - Open Card (Not Assigned a CCO)

  • Oregon Health Plan - Trillium Community Health - pending

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • Oxford

  • United Healthcare

  • Oscar Health

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

  • Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon

For Oregon Health Plan members outside of HealthShare and Trillium, I am happy to look into Single Case Agreements with your CCO upon request.

For all other clients, I offer the option of providing a SuperBill (essentially an itemized receipt) may will allow you to request part of the cost of therapy reimbursed to you depending upon your Out of Network Insurance Benefits.

Payment Information

  • Payment is due at the time of services.

  • Clients are billed within 72 hours of services being received - unless other arrangements or payment agreements have been made during the Intake Appointment.

  • I accept debit, credit, and HSA/FSA cards via my online secure payment system.

  • Clients may choose to have services paid for by a third-party such as a family member and this can be established during the Intake Session. Third parties are NOT granted access to clinical information, only information regarding service date, charge, and payment policies.

  • Clients utilizing Insurance Benefits as a form of payment are responsible for keeping the therapist updated on insurance changes.

  • Clients utilizing Out of Network Insurance Benefits via SuperBill are responsible for submitting claims on their own - unless other arrangements have been made. Reimbursify is available as a platform for clients looking for an option to submit Out of Network Claims.

  • What are Out of Network Benefits and What is a SuperBill?

    More therapists than ever are choosing to forgo contracting with Private Insurance Companies in the interest of maintaining more control over their practice.

    Some therapists have the option to give you something called a Superbill. This is essentially a receipt with all the information your insurance company will need to file a claim to utilize Out of Network Benefits to get reimbursed for some - or even all - of the expense of therapy.

  • Verify Your Out of Network Insurance Benefits via Reimbursify

    Kimberly Louvin, LCSW is out-of-network (OON) for many health insurance plans. Many individuals have health insurance plans that will reimburse a portion of your costs for OON treatments. Future Clients can verify their Out of Network Benefits via Reimbursify and submit claims directly via Reimbursify with SuperBills Complete a quick form to authorize this practice to obtain your specific coverage & deductible information for you.

  • Submit Out of Network Claim via Reimbursify

    When utilizing Out of Network benefits you’ll likely need to pay your therapist the entire session fee at the time of service, and depending on your specific plan, your insurance company will mail you a check to reimburse a portion of that cost.
